Visakhapatnam Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI conducts Vigilance Awareness campaign
The Visakhapatnam Regional Centre of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) successfully organized the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2024 under the theme "Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity." This event was held to foster a culture of honesty and vigilance among students and the community, contributing to the nation’s growth and ethical standards.
The campaign was graced by esteemed guests, Smt. J. Pavani, Chief Manager at Kohinoor SBI, and Dr. Berender Singh Farthayal, Professor and Regional Director, Institute of Local Self Government, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Their presence and insights underscored the importance of integrity and vigilance.
Various engaging activities, including debates, slogan writing, and drawing competitions, were organized on the theme for school children from Visakhapatnam. Students from eight local schools participated with great enthusiasm, making the event a resounding success. Dr. Joe K. Kizhakudan, Head of VRC, led the program, with Dr. Jayasree Loka (PS and Vigilance Officer), Dr. Biji Xavier (SS), and other committee members coordinating the event efficiently.
The event was a memorable step towards spreading awareness of integrity and vigilance, inspiring the young generation to uphold these values.
