Third Sub-Committee of Committee of Parliament on Official Language Visits ICAR-CMFRI
The Third Sub-Committee of the Committee of Parliament on Official Language visited ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI), Kochi on 10th May 2026. The delegation visited the Marine Biodiversity Museum, Marine Aquarium and Marine Megafauna Museum, showcasing ICAR-CMFRI’s efforts in marine research, conservation and public outreach.The Committee comprised Shri Neeraj Dangi, MP (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Dharmsila Gupta, MP (Rajya Sabha), Member; Shri Vikram Singh, Under Secretary, Shri Ram Narayan Shaw, Research Officer and Shri Sahdev Singh, Committee Reporter.
Dr. Grinson George, Director, ICAR-CMFRI explained the activities of the Institute through videos displayed at the Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC). The Committee appreciated the technologies developed by ICAR-CMFRI for the welfare of fisherfolk.
