Recognition for ICAR-CMFRI Technology during 96th ICAR Foundation & Technology Day
The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute’s (CMFRI) technology on ‘Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) of seaweed and fish farming in cages’ was recognized by ICAR during its 96th Foundation & Technology Day on 16th July, 2024. Dr. Johnson, B., Senior Scientist, Lead Developer of the technology received the certificate from the Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Shri. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Shri. Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Shri. Ramnath Thakur & Shri. Bhagirath Choudhary, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Shri. George Kurian & Shri. S.P. Singh Baghel. This technology was selected as one of the five best technologies of the Fisheries Science Division of ICAR.
