Internship Programme for PGDTJC & MA Hindi students of Cochin University of Science & Technology
Internship programme was organized for six Post graduate Diploma in Translation,Journalism & Computing and MA Hindi students of Cochin University of Science & Technology, South Kalamassery from 06 th January 2025 to 20 th January 2025 at ICAR – Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi. Internship programme was conducted at Official Language Section of CMFRI. Students were provided with terminologies used in Hindi implementation in Central Government offices and Fisheries Glossary from CMFRI. Samples of official and non- official letters were provided to the students. A Power Point presentation on Official Language policy was shown to the students on 13th January, 2025 at Conference Hall 201. A session was conducted for giving awareness on Hindi Inscript Typing & Phonetic Typing. A practice session was conducted at Library & Documentation Cell of CMFRI. Annual Programme on Official Language implementation in Central Govt. Offices issued by Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs was given to the students. CMFRI In- house Hindi magazine 'Matsyagandha’ and other publications were introduced to the students. Internship programme was concluded on 20th January 2025. Dr. Grinson George, Director, ICAR – CMFRI presented certificates to the students. During the meeting with students, Director, CMFRI gave a brief description about CMFRI and encouraged students to achieve success in their life. Dr. Shinoj P., Principal Scientist & Nodal Officer, HRD Cell, and Shri P. Muraleedharan, Senior Administrative Officer, also attended the meeting.
