Background :

With over twenty-eight years working in open water fisheries management and aquaculture research, my background spans pond, cage, and pen-based fish culture systems, fish breeding, fish feeds and nutrition, fish migration, fish germplasm exploration and conservation, fish stock assessment, invasive species risk assessment, and environment impact assessment. Attracted project grants of over 20 crores. Currently, as Head of the Mariculture Division, leading projects in breeding and seed production of fishes and invertebrates, including AI applications in mariculture.
