Background :

After completing my master's degree in Aquatic Environmental Management (2011) at CIFE, Mumbai, I worked as an Inspector of Fisheries at Rameswaram for the state fisheries department of Tamil Nadu from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, I became a Scientist of the Agricultural Research Service at ICAR (101st FOCARS at NAARM, Hyderabad). Presently, I have been working as Scientist in Marine Biodiversity and Environment Management Division at Mandapam Regional Centre of CMFRI, Mandapam Camp and mainly focus on Marine Pollution, Marine Macrophytes, Jellyfishes, Marine mammals, Critical Marine Habitat related studies, Algal blooms, Site selection and deployment of artificial reefs at the Palk Bay and Gulf of Mannar coast.
