Background :

After completing my master's degree in aquatic environmental management (2013) at CIFE, I worked as an Inspector of Fisheries at Villupuram for the state fisheries department of Tamil Nadu from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, I became a Scientist of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) at ICAR (101st FOCARS at NAARM, Hyderabad). In 2024, I completed my doctor of philosophy in Fisheries Resource Management at the Faculty of Fisheries Science, KUFOS. I was a scientist in the Mandapam Regional Research Centre of CMFRI, Mandapam, where I worked from 2015 to 2022 in the Crustacean Fisheries Division. I am focusing on the biology and population dynamics of shellfish (e.g., prawns, crabs, lobsters, cephalopods, and gastropods) at the shellfish fisheries division beginning in 2022. I'm also working on the long-term use of this resource's management plan.
