Background :

Icompleted my Bachelor of Fisheries Science from College of Fisheries, Mangaloreand there after Master of Fisheries Sciences (Fisheries Resource Management)and Ph. D in Fisheries Resource Management from Central Institute of FisheriesEducation, Mumbai, during which I worked on micro algae and seaweeds. Presentlyworking on biology and fishery of pelagic resources of the Indian EEZ, for theirsustainable exploitation and resource management. Other research interests include;finfish taxonomy and seaweeds.
