Background :

I graduated in Fisheries Science (B.F. Sc) from Tuticorin Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu, and completed my master’s degree in Fish Physiology and Biochemistry from the Central Fisheries Research Institute, Mumbai. Following my master's, I worked as an Inspector of Fisheries in Tamil Nadu for a year. In 2014, I joined ICAR-CMFRI as an Agricultural Research Scientist, focusing on fish nutrition research, particularly in lipid nutrition and alternative aquafeed ingredients. I was awarded the prestigious 'Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Fellowship' for my Ph.D. at the University of Bergen, Norway
