Background :
I joined the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi, in 2016, and I worked in the Pelagic Fisheries Division at the Mandapam Regional Centre of CMFRI (2016–2022). I am currently working in the Finfish Fisheries Division at Tuticorin Regional Station, Tuticorin. I completed my PhD in 2022, where my thesis related to the fishery and biology of barracudas in the mandapam waters of the Gulf of Mannar. My expertise is in studying fish taxonomy, fisheries biology, fish stock status, and fish ecology.
