Background :
After taking masters in marine biology in 1990 and PhD in crustacean physiology in 1996 I am working in CMFRI since 1996 on molluscan fisheries division till 2004 and presently in mariculture division till date. I currently work in the mariculture division in CMFRI. I have worked on mollusc fishery and mariculture, I have contributed to the mariculture activities especially to the cage culture activities and live feed cultutre. .
