Focus of Research :

  • Applications of nanoscience in mariculture
  • Finfish breeding and open sea cage farming
  • Population genetics and marker assisted selection

Background :

After persuing  B.F.Sc degree from College of Fisheries, Panangad, Kochi during 2004, M.F.Sc. (Fishery Microbiology), 2006 and Ph.D. (Fishery Microbiology) on 2009 at College of Fisheries, Mangalore I am working in CMFRI since 2009 at Mariculture Division. In the division I am working on open sea cage farming and marine finfish breeding along with nanotechnology applications for improving the reproductive performances of finfishes. I have interests in population genetics and marker assisted selection in fisheries.
