Background :
After completing MSc (Agricultural Economics) from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, I joined ICAR-CMFRI through the Agricultural Research Service in 2002. I obtained PhD from TNAU, Coimbatore in 2009 and my Ph. D research work focussed on the bio-economic analysis of sustainability of marine fish production in Kerala. Currently, I am leading the research project on the livelihood status assessment of marine fisherfolk in India using Sustainable Livelihoods Approach. I also served as the Manager of Agricultural Technology information Centre of ICAR-CMFRI from October 2014 to July, 2019.
